Develop, negotiate, and implement strategies resulting in improved supply chain performance, enhanced product quality, innovative technology, and maximum value,
Drive negotiations and executive agreements with suppliers,
Monitor current market conditions and technology roadmaps to proactively identify and address any supply challenges and to determine future business opportunities,
Be an active member in the global network of Buyers,
Collaborate with other functions to successfully develop new projects and execute global supply chain and technology strategies,
Drive all relevant activities to deliver on Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability, and Risk Management targets,
Monitor, identify, and mitigate risks in cooperation with the Supplier Quality & Development (SQ&D) team,
Forecast cost evolution for scope of responsibility,
Manage and negotiate product/processes changes during production phase and after production phase for Revenue segments,
Support if necessary, plants’ activities related to production orders, logistics, and financial flows to the suppliers,
Develop a positive working environment.
Requirements and skills:
Bachelors or master’s in engineering or Business,
At least 3 years’ experience in Purchasing,
Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage,
Negotiation skills, purchasing process skills,
Ability to write, speak and present effectively and persuasively,
Strong business acumen, agile in way of working,
Organizational /leadership & communication skills,
Fluent English,
